ARM Announces AGI CPU — First Silicon Product in 35-Year History, Meta as Launch Customer

Arm unveiled the AGI CPU: 136 Neoverse V3 cores at 3.7GHz on TSMC 3nm, 300W TDP, 12-channel DDR5-8800 (800+ GB/s bandwidth), PCIe Gen 6, and CXL 3.0. This is the first time in Arm's 35-year history the company has shipped its own production silicon rather than licensing IP. Meta is the lead customer with seven others including OpenAI, Cloudflare, and SAP, targeting 'agentic AI infrastructure' — the CPU-side orchestration for coordinating accelerators in large-scale AI deployments.
