MuSe: First Mutation Testing Plugin for Remix IDE Targets Smart Contract Security

MuSe is the first mutation testing plugin for Remix IDE, the most widely used development environment for Ethereum smart contract development. Mutation testing assesses test suite effectiveness by injecting artificial faults — a technique well-established in traditional SE but absent from the primary smart contract development environment used by developers of all experience levels. Given the financial stakes of smart contract bugs, this fills a critical gap in the web3 development toolchain.
