Bloomberg's Mark Gurman reports Apple is testing a standalone Siri chatbot app codenamed 'Campo' for iOS 27 and macOS 27, designed to compete directly with ChatGPT and Claude. The app will resemble Apple Messages with a list/grid of past conversations, favorites, search, and support for both text and voice interactions. A new 'Ask Siri' toggle will be embedded in app menus system-wide, automatically sending app context to Siri for contextual queries — planned for reveal at WWDC on June 8.
