Bloomberg reports Apple will allow competing AI chatbots (Gemini, Claude, others) to integrate with Siri through 'Extensions' in iOS 27, expanding beyond the current ChatGPT-only partnership. Users will select preferred services in Settings. Apple also plans to ship its own chatbot version of Siri based on Google's Gemini models.
