Veteran-founded EdgeRunner AI released WarClaw on April 1, a specialized agentic AI tool trained by former military operators on actual combat scenarios. WarClaw operates in Denied, Disconnected, Intermittent, and Low-bandwidth (DDIL) environments with on-premises models requiring no internet connection. Capabilities include database analysis, intelligence report interpretation, web intelligence gathering, document drafting, and process automation with advanced computer vision and predictive analytics. Already under contract with Special Operations Command and the Kennedy Special Warfare Center — part of a broader trend away from frontier models toward smaller, mission-specific custom agents.
