A2A Protocol v0.3 Ships gRPC Support and Security Card Signing as Ecosystem Grows to 150+ Organizations
Google released Agent2Agent Protocol v0.3 with gRPC support for high-performance agent communication, security card signing for verifiable agent identity, and extended Python SDK client-side support. The ecosystem has grown from 50 launch partners to over 150 organizations spanning every major hyperscaler and leading technology providers. Version 0.3 is described as critical for accelerating enterprise adoption, providing a more stable interface for production use. A production-ready version of the full specification is planned for later in 2026; the protocol was contributed to the Linux Foundation for open governance.
