Microsoft Agent Framework 1.0 GA: AutoGen + Semantic Kernel Merged with Five Production Orchestration Patterns

Microsoft merged AutoGen and Semantic Kernel into a single framework that has now reached GA. It combines AutoGen's simple agent abstractions with Semantic Kernel's enterprise features (session-based state management, type safety, middleware, telemetry) and adds graph-based workflows for explicit multi-agent orchestration. Ships with five stable orchestration patterns from Microsoft Research: sequential, concurrent, handoff, group chat, and Magentic-One. All patterns support streaming, checkpointing, human-in-the-loop approvals, and pause/resume.
