Assessing REST API Test Generation Strategies with Log Coverage Metrics

Proposes three new metrics for evaluating REST API test effectiveness in black-box settings where source code coverage is unavailable — using server-side log coverage as a proxy. The metrics capture average, minimum, and maximum log coverage across endpoints, addressing a real gap for teams testing polyglot microservice architectures where traditional code coverage tools don't apply uniformly.
