NVIDIA Launches RoboLab Benchmark for National Robotics Week — Standardized Sim-to-Real Transfer Evaluation for Generalist Robot Policies
NVIDIA announced RoboLab, a high-fidelity simulation benchmark built on Isaac and Omniverse for evaluating generalist robot policies at scale. The benchmark measures how well behaviors learned in simulation transfer to real-world tasks of increasing complexity. Alongside RoboLab, Mimic's video-action model demonstrated 10x better sample efficiency and 2x faster convergence on manipulation tasks by pairing internet-scale video models with flow-matching action decoders.
