LangChain launched Deep Agents Deploy in beta, positioning it as a direct open-source competitor to Anthropic's Claude Managed Agents. The MIT-licensed harness works with any model provider (OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, Ollama, etc.), uses AGENTS.md as an open standard for agent instructions, and critically stores all agent memory in user-controlled databases.
