Nutanix CEO: 30,000 VMware Customers Have Migrated Amid Broadcom Licensing Backlash — Western Union Among Them
At Nutanix's .NEXT conference in Chicago, CEO Rajiv Ramaswami said roughly 30,000 VMware customers have migrated to Nutanix's hyperconverged platform since Broadcom's acquisition. Nutanix is winning 500-1,000 new customers per quarter, citing forced bundling, perpetual license elimination, and price increases as drivers. Western Union disclosed it's been migrating 900-1,200 applications across ~3,900 cores over six months. Ramaswami: 'There's no doubt that the customer sentiment continues to be negative about Broadcom.'
