Avid and Google Cloud Partner to Bring Agentic AI to Media Production

Avid Technology and Google Cloud announced a multi-year partnership embedding Gemini models and Vertex AI directly into Avid's creative tools for the media and entertainment industry. The collaboration aims to transform video editing from mostly manual workflows to AI-assisted production. This is one of the first major agentic AI integrations targeting the $250B+ media production industry rather than enterprise software.
