Google launched AI Mode in Chrome on April 16-17, bringing its conversational search experience directly into the browser with side-by-side browsing. Clicking a link in AI Mode now opens the page alongside your conversation, preserving search context. A new tab-context feature lets you select multiple open tabs and bring their content into AI Mode searches. Rolling out on US Chrome desktop with no paid subscription required.
