Notion 3.4 Ships Workers Runtime, 8 New API Endpoints, Voice Input — Productivity Tool Becomes Application Platform
Notion released version 3.4 on April 14 with Workers: a sandboxed JavaScript/TypeScript runtime that lets AI agents execute code inside Notion (30s timeout, 128MB memory, approved domains only). Eight new API endpoints for database views shipped alongside heading_4 block support, AI Meeting Notes via API, and desktop voice input. Custom Agents are now 35-50% cheaper across the board, with new model options (GPT-5.4 Mini, Haiku 4.5, MiniMax M2.5) using up to 10x fewer credits. For builders: Notion is no longer a doc tool — it's a low-code platform where agents run server-side logic.
