Cloudflare Shared Dictionaries for the Agentic Web: Agentic Traffic Now 10% of All Requests
Cloudflare's Agents Week blog post reveals that agentic actors now represent just under 10% of total requests across its global network, up ~60% year-over-year. To address the cache-busting problem (agents push fixes, bundlers re-chunk, every user re-downloads), Cloudflare is shipping shared dictionary compression that shrinks a 272KB asset from 92KB (gzip) to just 2.6KB by using the previous version as a dictionary. Open beta of Phase 1 passthrough support targets April 30, 2026.
