NEC announced a strategic collaboration with Anthropic on April 23, becoming the first Japan-based global Anthropic partner. NEC will integrate Claude (including Opus 4.7 and Claude Code) into its BluStellar platform and deploy to approximately 30,000 employees globally. Joint development of industry-specific AI solutions for financial, manufacturing, and government sectors. NEC will also leverage Claude in its Security Operations Center for cybersecurity.
