Released April 28, Claude Code 2.1.121 adds an alwaysLoad option to MCP server config that skips tool-search deferral for designated servers, making critical tools instantly available. PostToolUse hooks can now replace tool output for ALL tools via hookSpecificOutput.updatedToolOutput (previously MCP-only). Also ships type-to-filter for /skills, fullscreen scroll-jump fix, scrollable dialogs with keyboard/mouse navigation, and fixes for unbounded memory growth when processing many images.
