General Motors Deploying Google Gemini to 4 Million Vehicles via OTA Update

GM announced it will push Google Gemini AI to approximately 4 million model-year 2022+ Cadillac, Chevrolet, Buick, and GMC vehicles in the US via over-the-air software update, making it one of the largest single Gemini deployments in any industry. The upgrade replaces existing voice assistance with Gemini-powered conversational AI through GM's Google built-in infotainment system. A deeper OnStar-integrated AI experience is planned for later in 2026.
