UK challenger bank Allica has begun live testing an end-to-end agentic AI system that ingests unstructured email loan applications, assesses them autonomously, and returns credit decisions within minutes — no human in the loop for the initial decision. This is one of the first production deployments of fully autonomous AI credit decisioning from raw unstructured input in UK banking. The system targets SME lending where speed of decision is a key competitive differentiator.
