Unity AI launched into open beta on May 4 for Unity 6 with three components: an AI Assistant trained on Unity docs and aware of live project state (scene hierarchy, GameObjects, components); an AI Gateway routing to third-party frontier models; and an MCP Server exposing the Unity scene graph to external coding agents in IDEs like Claude Code, Cursor, and Windsurf.
