SAP CEO Christian Klein confirmed the company is moving from per-user subscriptions to AI consumption-based pricing, one of the most significant business model changes since SAP's cloud transition. Starting July, SAP is deploying 'forward-deployed engineering' teams — consultants and developers stationed at customer sites to build customized AI solutions on the SAP platform. SAP Joule now offers 40+ specialized agents with 2,400 skills across finance, HR, supply chain, and IT.
