The Bielik study shows internal activation dispersion separates entities a model genuinely knows from ones it'll confabulate, and the signal holds across scale. That's a lightweight, inference-time hallucination lever: check the dispersion before you trust the answer on knowledge-heavy tasks. Cheaper than a second model call, and it runs before generation instead of after.
