That matters for any vendor who assumed a missing API kept their software safe from automation. Clark doesn't need permission to reach it.
Most agent products still route through APIs: a connector here, an MCP server there, cooperation from whatever vendor owns the software. Clark skips all of it. Instead of calling into a SaaS product, the agent gets a persistent machine and operates software the way a human contractor would.
That trade cuts both ways. Working a UI directly is slower and more fragile than firing an API call, per Clark's Product Hunt listing. But it also means Clark runs on anything with a screen. That includes the tools that will never get an official integration because no vendor has a reason to build one.
