The bridge to your terminal has 156 passing tests and skips a separate API key entirely.
Why now: Endoplexity launched on August 14 and had already picked up about 208 stars on GitHub by August 17.
Endoplexity turns a Chrome side panel into a browser agent that clicks, types and switches tabs. It shells out to the claude or cursor-agent CLI already installed on your machine to do it. Anyone already paying for Claude or Cursor skips a separate API key, and the bridge behind it passes 156 tests, per its GitHub repo.
Its pitch is simple. The agent loop was already installed and paid for, so what Endoplexity adds is hands and a face to work the page you're looking at.
Created August 14, the project has already picked up about 208 stars on GitHub. Headless browser agents often lose their session and have to log back in, but Endoplexity rides along inside a live, already logged-in Chrome session instead.
What the repo doesn't say matters too. Its 156 tests cover the CLI bridge, not the browser actions it triggers on a page. The repo gives no detail on multi-step tasks across tabs, or whether cursor-agent gets the same coverage as claude.
The bet here is that a live login session beats an API key as the credential for browser automation, at least for this one project.
