He built it after Indeed laid off his wife at seven months pregnant, then used it to hire his first three employees in four weeks.
Why now: The founder shared the full breakdown on r/ClaudeAI as he preps the platform's next release, an application agent that fills out job forms without a browser extension.
A non-technical founder built a job platform in four months after Indeed laid off his wife when she was seven months pregnant. He's since merged more than 1,100 Claude Code pull requests, 200 of them written himself despite no engineering background, according to his account on r/ClaudeAI.
The platform has 4,300 authenticated users and 91 paying customers. It also placed the founder's first three hires in four weeks.
Each day it pulls in roughly 15,000 job listings straight from employer career pages, then classifies, enriches and embeds them for semantic matching.
The next release needs no Chrome extension. An application agent will read a company's Workday, Greenhouse or Lever page and fill out the form itself.
The post doesn't say how a founder with no coding background reviewed 1,100 pull requests well enough to trust them in production. It also doesn't say what happens to that review process once the codebase outgrows what one person can read.
