Main ChatGPT use was generating social posts driving traffic to IBI articles across X, LinkedIn, Facebook, Substack and Telegram, with many articles plagiarized or misattributed academic work. OpenAI doesn't serve Russia, so operators used VPNs. OpenAI describes the campaign as previously unreported.
