Three unrelated apps topped Product Hunt's Aug. 31 board, each built around a human checkpoint before an agent's output goes anywhere. That matters because three different buyer types, design, sales and engineering, all picked that same checkpoint over unsupervised output. The three sit at #1, #2 and #3 with 197, 140 and 139 upvotes.
Fotor's Video Agent is #1. It generates motion graphics from a chat prompt. The output stays editable afterward, text, numbers, logos and charts on a multi-track timeline, so fixing a wrong stat doesn't mean starting over.
BrandJet is #2 with 140 upvotes. It routes agent-sourced leads into a unified inbox instead of auto-sending them.
Revolte's Interactive Sessions is #3 with 139. It wraps software development agents in plan approval, inline diffs, cost caps and audit trails.
A month of launches on this board sold end-to-end autonomy. Three unrelated categories leading with approval controls at once suggests that pitch stopped converting. If next week's board still leads with approval over autonomy, this stops looking like a one-day fluke.
