SIR composes stealthy OS-level injections from a small plain-language library of reusable principles, then diagnoses failed trajectories to distill new named strategies and reapply them (arXiv 2608.30207). Scored with a deterministic oracle checking filesystem, service and permission state rather than an LLM judge, it also took Gemini 3.5 Flash from 0% to 28%, with the benign task still completing. Principles discovered against one model transferred to a different architecture with no additional feedback. Fixed hand-written injection benchmarks understate real exposure.

The leaderboard says first place. The methodology says you should check your own bill. Qwen3.8 Max now ranks first on Artificial Analysis' agentic index, scoring 86.1 on OSWorld-Verified ahead of GPT-5.6 Sol Max at 83.2 and Fable 5 at 85.0, priced at $2.00/M input and $6.00/M...
If you're building a multi-agent system right now, stop and read this paper. Researchers ran 22,500 deterministic trajectories across three state-of-the-art models (GPT-5.5, Claude Opus 4.7, Gemini 3 Ultra) and three major benchmarks (GAIA, SWE-bench, Multi-Challenge). The fin...
The first systematic study of deceptive UI impact on LLM web agents, accepted at IEEE S&P 2026, tested against real e-commerce, streaming, and news dark patterns. Gemini 2.5 Pro: 65.78% susceptibility. Claude 3.7 Sonnet: 53.79%. GPT-4o: 51.26%. Guardrail models and prompt post...
Willison's August 13 release adds Gemini 3.7 Flash, 3.6 Flash and 3.5 Flash-Lite plus gemini-embedding-2 and -001, rebuilding on LLM 0.32's structured message and streaming APIs so reasoning, tool calls and results emit as typed stream events while preserving Gemini thought si...
GPT-5.6 Luna went to $0.20 input / $1.20 output per million tokens on July 30. That's an 80% cut. Terra dropped 20%. Luna's input now undercuts Gemini 3.1 Flash-Lite ($0.25/$1.50) and sits at one-fifth of Claude Haiku 4.5's $1 input. Simon Willison covered the announcement and...
