The self-hosted tool beat three funded AI sales agents by requiring a human to approve every AI action instead of letting it act alone.
Why now: Relaticle's #6 finish is part of the 2026-09-09 Product Hunt coverage.
Relaticle reached #6 on Product Hunt with 162 upvotes for a CRM built on one constraint: AI drafts, a person approves. It beat three funded AI sales agents on the same board.
That matters because the pack on this board is selling more agent autonomy, and Relaticle sold the opposite. AI suggests, a person clicks accept. It still finished ahead.
The tool is AGPL-licensed and self-hostable on Laravel and Filament. It ships 37 MCP tools and a REST API for anyone wiring it into an existing stack. Relaticle's repo has 1,626 stars.
Self-hosting matters here as much as the approval step. A CRM holds customer data, deal terms, contact history. Companies don't want that living on a vendor's servers by default. Laravel and Filament are known quantities for teams already running PHP. AGPL means anyone can fork it and host it without paying a vendor.
The ranking doesn't say whether upvotes turn into deployments. It doesn't say whether teams keep the approval step once the novelty wears off. Product Hunt measures interest, not retention.
Autonomy-first CRMs keep launching. A tool built to slow the AI down just out-ranked several of them.
