The nine-service basket ran $95.91 in March 2021; Apple TV+ alone rose 200%, the steepest jump in the group.
Why now: The tracker's count is current through September 10, 2026.
Nine major streaming subscriptions cost $154.41 a month combined as of September 2026, up from $95.91 in March 2021, according to a dated price-tracking study. That's a 61% rise in five and a half years, $702 more a year for the same nine subscriptions. It undercuts the claim that per-seat software pricing runs uniquely aggressive. These subscribers absorbed a bigger jump in a category most people didn't choose to pay more for, with no seat count to cut.
Apple TV+ moved the most, up 200% from $4.99 to $14.99. Disney+ Premium rose 138%. Peacock Premium Plus doubled. HBO Max and Spotify moved less, up 23% and 30%. The gap between Apple TV+'s 200% jump and HBO Max's 23% shows how unevenly the increases were spread across the group.
The tracker dates and links every price change it counts, not a one-time snapshot. It doesn't say why Apple TV+ moved furthest, or whether subscribers churned after the increase, only that the number held.
