Anthropic's September 10 report documents a small cell in northern Yemen using Claude Code to write guidance, navigation and control software across three simultaneous programs: a guided rocket using a commodity phone-class flight computer with terminal homing, a multi-stage ballistic missile, and a multi-variant missile including a hypersonic glide vehicle. After a live test fire failed, the operators came back to Claude within hours to diagnose why. Anthropic banned the accounts and says it has no evidence an operational weapon was fielded, but also found the group had built an offline simulation toolkit (Arab News). The offline toolkit is the durable part, because that capability no longer depends on Claude or on licensed tools like MATLAB.

Go run git log --format=%B -20 | grep Claude-Session in a repo you've been agenting on. If you get hits, you've been publishing a trailer you never agreed to. A 270-upvote PSA on r/ClaudeAI documented that Claude Code appends a Claude-Session: git trailer to commits and drops...
Twelve months ago, OpenAI led Anthropic by 41 points in enterprise adoption. Today that gap is 8. Enterprise Technology Research's survey of roughly 500 respondents shows OpenAI dropping from 62% adoption (September 2025) to 56% (March 2026) while Anthropic surged from 21% to...
I've been telling people for months that the agent code I review is *correct and awful*. Correct in the sense that it compiles, passes the tests, does the thing. Awful in the sense that a 400-line function does the work of 80, the same helper exists three times under different...
Go open your CLAUDE.md. Count the instances of "must" and "never." A reader on r/ClaudeAI did exactly that after Anthropic's September 8 platform post and found 66 of one and 54 of the other across their rule files. Their complaint wasn't the count. It was that they couldn't t...
Anthropic released Claude Fable 5.1 on September 1. Claude Code v2.1.257 made it the default Fable model at 17:53 UTC that day, with a 1M-token context window, $10 per million input tokens, $50 per million output, and $0.25 per million on cache reads (claude-code CHANGELOG). B...
The RSI debate has been vibes and timelines for two years. This week a frontier lab published an actual measurement from inside its own walls. The Anthropic Institute reported an 8x increase in lines of code merged into its codebase in 2026 versus the 2021–2024 baseline. The t...
