The releases follow a $2B round led by a16z and Accel that valued Cognition at $48B, up from $10B four months earlier. Run-rate revenue rose from about $492M in May to about $900M over the same span.
SWE-2 pushes what Cognition calls the Pareto frontier of capability against inference cost, with separate settings for how much effort the model spends. Fusion followed it into Devin Desktop and the CLI on September 11.
Devin Voice launched the same day on Product Hunt at #8 with 120 votes. It pairs GPT-Live for conversation with SWE-2 for coding, and it's interruptible mid-sentence, under the tagline "You say it, Devin ships it."
