The self-hosted, MIT-licensed CRM runs sales through WhatsApp and pitches itself against Kommo, Octadesk and Intercom.
Why now: The 1,567-star count reflects GitHub's TypeScript trending board as tracked on September 12.
DeskcommCRM runs sales conversations inside WhatsApp, connecting through WAHA and adding MCP-ready AI agents to work leads automatically. The MIT-licensed tool is self-hosted and built multi-tenant, so one agency can run it for several clients from a single install.
It pitches itself directly against Kommo, Octadesk and Intercom, and it's built LGPD-compliant for Brazil's data protection law. That combination, chat-first and aimed at a Brazilian market, is unusual for this corner of GitHub.
DeskcommCRM's 505-star day put it at the top of GitHub's TypeScript trending board. It has 1,567 stars now. It also has 519 forks, high enough to suggest people are installing the tool instead of just starring it for later. Cloning and running a self-hosted CRM takes real effort, more than clicking a star button.
The TypeScript board usually lists English-language developer tooling, frameworks and linters. DeskcommCRM breaking into that list is the exception. If the pattern holds, expect more WhatsApp-first sales tools built for markets outside the US and Europe to start showing up there too.
