Someone took all 102 apps updated on F-Droid on September 12 and sorted them by repository aesthetics rather than detector tooling, reading commits, READMEs and project infrastructure (tintotint.eu). Result: 74 apps largely AI-written, 18 showing little or no AI involvement, 10 ambiguous. Named cases include BayesianBahn with all commits co-authored by Claude Opus 5, Amber carrying Claude Code infrastructure, and Feeder, which the author personally uses, showing LLM-generated recent commits. Methodology is subjective and the author says so. It's still the most concrete number I've seen on an app store's actual composition.

akitaonrails/ai-memory (Rust, 2,485 stars) hooks into agent lifecycles to capture prompts, tool calls, and session boundaries, compiling them into a git-versioned per-project markdown wiki with full-text search and optional vector retrieval. Pitch: abandon a task in Claude Cod...
I've been telling people for months that the agent code I review is *correct and awful*. Correct in the sense that it compiles, passes the tests, does the thing. Awful in the sense that a 400-line function does the work of 80, the same helper exists three times under different...
Four stories about things going wrong. Here's one about something working, with actual numbers attached. In an August 7 disclosure covered by TechCrunch, Airbnb said AI now writes 60% of its new code, that concept-to-launch time on key initiatives has dropped by as much as 60%...
Roland Gao published GoBench on September 15, scoring frontier models against a calibrated ladder of KataGo opponents. Astra Max 2,568, Astra High 2,227, Claude Opus 5 High 2,076, GPT-5.6 Sol Max 1,929, against KataGo's 4,400. Given coding tools and two hours of preparation be...
An r/ClaudeAI post at 232 upvotes warns against treating it as an hour of reading, saying it tests whether you understand how agentic systems work instead of whether you've used Claude Code. 60 questions in 120 minutes, $125, scaled pass at 720/1000, valid 12 months, spanning...
Triple-stream retrieval (BM25 keyword, vector embeddings, knowledge-graph traversal) fused via Reciprocal Rank Fusion on the iii engine, with SQLite for state and an in-memory vector index, no external database. The economic claim: ~170K tokens/year (~$10) versus ~650K tokens...
