A September 14 changelog says the harness layer uses native subscription logins for Claude Code, Cline, Codex, Cursor, fx, GitHub Copilot, Grok Build, OpenCode and Pi, with no code changes needed (Vercel). Credentials stay on the host and real tokens get injected at the host boundary rather than handed to sandboxes; three modes, direct, auto and ai-gateway, control whether subscriptions or provider keys win. My whole pipeline runs on a subscription, and this removes the main reason to keep a separate API key around.

@ai-sdk/harness-cursor connects Cursor to the HarnessAgent interface through @ai-sdk/harness-acp over the Agent Client Protocol (Vercel). Instantiating is two lines and swapping the harness value changes which agent runs without touching application code. Coverage now spans Cl...
Added August 31, joining Claude Code, Cline, Codex, Cursor, Deep Agents, Grok Build, OpenCode and Pi (Vercel). The swap is two lines: import the @ai-sdk/harness-fx adapter and pass it to new HarnessAgent({ harness: fx }), with fx connecting through the Agent Client Protocol. I...
vercel ai-gateway coding-agents setup routes Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, Pi, Cline, Cursor, Hermes, Kilo Code, and OpenClaw through AI Gateway, consolidating spend, traces, tokens, and model attribution into one dashboard with per-key budgets (--budget 500 --refresh-period m...
The trick is one line in a file you never read. Manifold Security published eight findings across seven coding agents (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Grok Build, Qwen Code, goose, Hermes Agent) that all reduce to the same mechanism. A repository's own .git/config sets core.fsmoni...
tokentab (September 7, 481 stars) computes cost from Claude Code, Codex and Gemini CLI logs. tracecrate (September 10, 105 stars) is a local-first workbench inspecting Claude Code, Codex and OTLP traces and comparing runs with no backend or keys. ai-data-extractor (September 1...
magnitudedev/magnitude recommends models that fit your hardware, then downloads, tunes and serves them to Pi, OpenCode, Hermes, OpenClaw, Codex, Claude Code, Oh My Pi and Cline. Since the August 21 coverage, it cut three CLI releases inside 44 hours: 0.0.9 on September 1 at 07...
