Claude Code v2.1.179 preserves partial responses on dropped connections.
Story
Per Releasebot, the update fixes a long-standing failure where a dropped streaming connection discarded the entire in-flight response and showed a raw error. Now partial output survives the reconnect. It also fixes Linux sandbox glob performance and a WSL2 mouse-wheel regression. If you run long autonomous sessions on flaky networks, this directly cuts lost work, which matters more given the outage cluster.
