Why now: Norton's numbers surfaced in SaaStr's July 27 recap of its AI 2026 conference sessions.
Kyle Norton says the average rep at Owner.com now closes $2 million in ARR, not the top performer, per SaaStr's AI 2026 recap.
That's the floor now, not the boost. Norton says $100K or more in monthly closed-won revenue per BDR is normal at Owner.com. Its ARR per rep runs about 4x what he sees at SMB competitors, with 20x OTE as the efficiency benchmark.
His corollary is sharper: AI already beats mid-pack reps, and he says that tier is gone. The best AI-augmented reps now spend 70-80% of their time on revenue work, versus 20-30% before, per Norton.
Pay is catching up too. The best AI-native SDRs are asking two to three times current comp, and $250K-plus SDR packages are starting to appear, per the same recap.
Norton's numbers are Owner's own, not an industry survey. Whether $2M ARR per rep holds up as a real average, not an outlier, will show if other SaaS companies start publishing similar numbers.
