The Rust terminal built for AI coding shipped August 2 with api_mode = "responses" for Responses-compatible endpoints and provider-hosted web search that needs no separate search key. The security-relevant change is tightened tool paths, web requests, and code search boundaries, plus incomplete streams no longer counting as successful turns.
