It took three releases in three days, one of which broke something the last one had just fixed.
Why now: v0.9.38 shipped August 9, and Graphify hadn't released a fourth fix as of August 10.
Graphify shipped three correctness releases in three days after its TypeScript call graph started inventing edges that didn't exist, per Graphify's GitHub releases. Agents using the tool to answer what calls this function were following relationships that were never there, and graphify flagged them as high-confidence.
The fabrication traced to how graphify resolved TypeScript member calls. It matched a receiver's type by name alone, then stamped a high-confidence calls edge onto code that never called it, per the 0.9.37 notes.
The fix didn't hold. v0.9.38, out August 9, patched a callback-scoping regression that 0.9.37 introduced, plus a separate bug where SQL CTE names got mistaken for table references.
Three correctness releases in three days, starting with v0.9.36 on August 7, isn't the signature of one isolated bug. It reads to me like a parser rewrite still shaking out edge cases.
I use this tool, which is why the failure mode bothers me. A code graph that invents edges is worse than no graph, because you trust it.
