FriskAI Raises $3.6M to Trace What AI Agents Actually Did

FriskAI launched with $3.6 million led by MaC Venture Capital to trace what AI agents actually do, per SiliconANGLE. The startup sells to healthcare, insurance, and financial services buyers who must explain an agent's decision to an auditor.

Its platform instruments agent runtimes, captures structured traces, and turns them into behavioral models that surface anomalies. In the same week, Lemma raised $2.3 million from investors tied to OpenAI and xAI to catch silent agent failures in production. The unit of failure here is a behavior, not a latency spike, and existing dashboards weren't built to catch it.

Two pre-seed checks hitting the same unbuilt problem in one week say something's missing from the tools enterprises already have. Traces of spans show latency and errors. They don't show whether an agent's decision was correct, which is what regulated buyers need proven to an auditor.
