With the present task held byte-identical, a completed audit→repair episode earlier in context lowers false alarms on human-verified-correct ProcessBench traces by 2.8 to 11.5 percentage points (arXiv 2608.16003). Signal-detection analysis puts the shift in the decision threshold, not discrimination: the criterion moves in 15 of 15 and survives correction in 13, d′ survives in none. If you've wired a checker model and a fixer model into one conversation, the fixer's prior turns are silently retuning the checker.
