Fetching from the wire…
Public story · 2026-08-31 · high
Viewers type prompts into chat, and the stream stitches each answer into one ongoing story that pulled 37,000 viewers on day one.
Why now: The write-up covers the stream's first day live, when concurrent viewership peaked above 1,000.
Pieter Levels built an interactive AI livestream in a single day. He ran the whole build through Termius against a Hetzner VPS, sitting in a sauna. The result, infiniteslop.ai, pulled 37,000 viewers on its first day, with concurrent viewership peaking above 1,000.
That's a lot of load for something built between sauna sessions with an SSH client and a rented server. The bottleneck wasn't the tooling. It was that Levels had to keep stepping away from the terminal.
The stream takes whatever viewers type into chat and generates a new clip from it, then stitches that clip onto the one before. The story keeps running without a script or a director. Nobody is picking camera angles or writing dialogue. The prompts in chat are doing that.
None of it happens for free. fal is sponsoring the compute. The model underneath, MiniMax's H3 Max, was post-trained specifically for this job. It renders a 15-second clip in about 9 seconds, close to 50 times faster than the stock endpoint. That speed is what turns a slideshow with a lag into something that feels live.
