The plugin holds a user's ChatGPT and Anthropic logins at once, installed with one marketplace command in Claude Code.
Why now: The account of running it as the main orchestrator dates to Friday, four days before this write-up.
A Claude Code plugin called model-gateway routes GPT requests to OpenAI on a user's ChatGPT login and everything else to Anthropic on their claude.ai login, per the model-gateway writeup.
That means one plugin holds two separate logins instead of two API keys. A bug or a bad update to model-gateway can touch both accounts at once, not just the one someone thought they were exposing.
Installing it takes one command, /plugin marketplace add Eigenwise/eigenwise-toolshed. GPT models then show up in /model next to Opus and Sonnet, no API key required.
The author has run it since Friday as the base of an orchestrator setup they call Astra. It delegates to Opus subagents while GPT handles whatever routes through the OpenAI side.
Four days in, they report it stays on task and accepts a redirect without treating it as a new task. It keeps delegating instead of taking over the work itself after a few hours.
The post doesn't say what model-gateway does with either login's traffic beyond routing it, or whether anyone besides the author has reviewed the code.

Per-token prices went down at both labs. Subscriptions are draining faster at both labs. Those aren't in tension once you look at token counts. On the OpenAI side, r/OpenAI collected reports from Linux.do and NodeSeek alleging Astra consumes more Plus quota than its published...
