The September 12 release also adds a --reasoning-effort flag for headless runs and trims about 4MB from the binary.
Why now: The 0.94.1 release notes went up on GitHub September 12.
Charmbracelet's Crush picked up OAuth login for ChatGPT subscribers in version 0.94.1, released September 12. Anyone running the terminal AI tool in scripts or CI can now skip managing a separate OpenAI API key.
The release also adds a crush run --reasoning-effort flag for headless runs. Typo the setting and it prints the accepted values back at you, per the release notes.
Contributor @taigrr added a handful of UI fixes in the same release. Mouse scroll events get coalesced now, chat scrolling is memoized, and a spinner clock is shared across the app.
The bigger change is under the hood. Charmbracelet pulled the Swagger dependency out of client-server mode and replaced it with a hand-rolled OpenAPI v3.2.1 implementation, cutting about 4MB from the binary.
