Fetching from the wire…

An internal AI VP of Revenue running on Replit touches about 30 tools, and the company put every one of them next to the growth numbers.
Why now: SaaStr posted the teardown on September 20, 2026.
SaaStr built an internal AI agent it calls the AI VP of Revenue, running on Replit and wired into roughly 30 systems, per SaaStr's teardown. The stack includes Salesforce, Slack, Momentum and Qualified, with Artisan handling warm outbound, Agentforce chasing ghosted leads, Monaco working net-new accounts, and an enrichment chain that runs from ZoomInfo through Sumble to Clay.
Most operators talk about AI revenue lift in a single percentage and stop there. SaaStr named every tool in the chain instead, which means another RevOps team can check the claim against a real architecture rather than a marketing line.
Sponsorship revenue is up 2.1x year over year. Inbound new business is up 60%, renewals are running 60% ahead, and outbound revenue is up 124%, across about 3 million sessions, 17,000 conversations, and roughly 600 meetings booked.
None of that is audited. It's self-reported by the company running the agent, with no third party confirming the agent caused the lift rather than riding alongside a good quarter. SaaStr doesn't say how it isolated the agent's contribution from everything else moving in the business at the same time.
The stack is also the risk. Thirty connected systems is an integration project, and every one of those links is a place the wiring can break. Watch whether other RevOps teams try to rebuild this exact chain, or whether the 30-tool count turns out to be the reason most of them don't bother.

Everyone's talking about building agents. Almost nobody's talking about managing them. SaaStr published the most granular operational report I've seen on running a multi-vendor AI agent fleet: 30 agents, 3 humans, across Agentforce, Artisan, Qualified, Monaco, and custom build...
The operator writeup details 21 production agents across SDR, support, back office and collections, spanning Qualified, Agentforce, PandaDoc, bill.com, Pylon, Klaviyo, PayPal, Nue and Monaco (SaaStr). 3,200 emails a month against 75 to 285 from a human SDR, plus over $1M in cl...
The loudest enterprise-agent number of the quarter falls apart when you divide it. SaaStr's breakdown of Salesforce Q2 FY27 (reported August 26, stock up 23%) puts cRPO at $33.5B growing 14% against 11% revenue growth. Agentforce ARR passed $1.5B at +240% on 3.2 billion agenti...
SaaStr's July 21 post argues against the "give agents a Postgres database and let them rip" position with four failure modes: 20+ agents each reinvent business rules without shared logic, downstream billing/BI/marketing need a canonical record, humans still need pipelines and...
What does it cost to run an AI VP of Marketing? SaaStr just told us: $94.51 per month on Replit. At SaaStr AI Annual 2026, the company revealed they replaced most of their human sales team with 20 AI agents, keeping just 1.25 humans on staff. The hybrid team closed 140% of wha...
HubSpot beat Q2 revenue at $912M, up 20%. Beat EPS at $3.26 against $3.02 expected. Its Data Agent is at 16,000 customers, up 80% quarter over quarter. Its Customer Agent resolves 72% of tickets without escalation. The stock had its largest one-day drop in 12 years on the NYSE...
