Bank Statement Converter's post-mortem names the cause directly. Free-tier chatbots now parse small batches of bank statements well enough, even though they're slower and cost more per file at volume. The tool still wins bulk jobs. It's losing the low-volume users who used to be its funnel.
The shape of the decline isn't unusual. SaaS products lose to free alternatives all the time. This case is different because it's first-party data.
