That's a design choice with stakes for anyone building agent tools. Skip teaching the model a new format, and put the rendering step behind whatever it already writes well.

The bet generalizes past video, in my view. Any tool built for agents faces the same design fork. Build an API that matches the domain and teach the model to use it. Or find a format the model already writes well and put your domain logic downstream of that. Hyperframes is one data point for the second approach working at real scale. The repository doesn't say whether that holds for domains where HTML isn't a natural fit.
