The staffing giant says agentic AI already runs recruitment workflows in 10 countries covering half its revenue, after piloting in the UK and France.
Why now: Adecco announced the expansion on September 15, with CEO Denis Machuel appearing alongside Anthropic's, NVIDIA's and Siemens' CEOs at the same event.
The Adecco Group is rolling out Salesforce's Agentforce Coworker, an AI teammate built on Claude, across more than 40 countries after testing it in the UK and France. The tool sits inside sales, recruitment and candidate engagement work, according to Adecco's press release.
The company says agentic AI is already live in recruitment workflows in 10 countries, and those 10 account for half of group revenue. That's a different kind of disclosure than most agent rollouts get. Companies usually announce a pilot count or a user count. Adecco is putting a revenue-weighted number next to a technology deployment, in an industry, staffing, that gets named constantly as a candidate for AI to shrink.
CEO Denis Machuel appeared at the Dreamforce keynote alongside the CEOs of Anthropic, NVIDIA and Siemens. That's a lineup built for a chip-to-model-to-application story, and Adecco is the application layer's customer reference.
What the release doesn't say matters here. There's no headcount figure, no cost saved, no placement-time metric. "Half of revenue touched by agentic AI" tells you exposure, not outcome. It doesn't say whether recruiters are doing less work, doing different work, or the same work faster. It doesn't say what happens to the roles the agent now handles in sales outreach and candidate engagement.
Watch whether Adecco follows this with a headcount or margin number in a quarterly filing. A staffing firm that can show agentic AI improving its own labor efficiency, in public financials rather than a press release, would be a far harder data point for skeptics to wave off than a 40-country rollout count.

The September 15 announcement covers sales, recruitment and candidate engagement, and Adecco says it has already deployed agentic AI in recruitment workflows in ten countries representing 50% of group revenues. A revenue-weighted footprint is rarer and more useful than a pilot...
A fund manager told Bloomberg Tech that AI is breaking the per-seat SaaS model, and ServiceNow's own numbers back part of the claim.
All three built their new agents on NVIDIA's Agent Toolkit, so the fight is now about autonomy depth, not whose model is smartest.
Customers pay Salesforce per API call for CRM access, then sign a second contract with Anthropic for inference.
Three days running, Product Hunt's leaderboard has favored tools that run agents over agents that do anything themselves.
Expert-authored code clears 82.2% of the same 53 tasks, with agent failures traced to skipped client communication and shallow requirement reading.
